We are delighted to announce that on March 8th, on International Women’s Day, the UCL Centre for Gender and Global Health will be launching the inaugural report of Global Health 50/50 at University College London. Global Health 50/50 is a new initiative, led by Professor Sarah Hawkes and Dr Kent Buse, created with the aim of advancing accountability and action for gender equality in global health and benefitting from the guidance and experience of a distinguished Advisory Council. The Global Health 50/50 report will examine the gender policies and practices of the world’s most influential global health organisations.

The event will be free to attend and open to all. You can read more about Global Health 50/50 at globalhealth5050.org and follow us on twitter for updates @GlobalHlth5050.

The event hashtag will be #GH5050Report and we will be tweeting on the day from @GlobalHlth5050 and @UCLGenderHealth. For any questions please contact info@globalhealth5050.org.
