Dr Joe Cain, Senior Lecturer in History and Philosophy of Bio, UCL Science and Technology Studies
Originally taglined as 'The supreme excitement of our time!', this classic sci-fi flick follows the adventures of nuclear physicist Cal Meacham. After experiencing a series of unexplained incidents, Meacham is put in contact with a mysterious man called Exeter. This silver-haired, perma-tanned and suspiciously high-foreheaded fellow invites him join a secret research project based in Georgia. Almost inevitably, all turns out to be more than it originally seems...
The film will be introduced by science historian Dr. Joe Cain (UCL Science and Technology Studies) and a private view of the museum and complimentary drinks reception will follow the film.
